Kelly Moore named NHES Principal

     The North Hancock Elementary School SBDM Council selected Kelly Moore to serve as the Principal of NHES for the 2020-2021 school year.  Mrs. Moore was selected to replace Paul Poole who is retiring.

     Mrs. Moore comes to North Hancock Elementary from her current position as Assistant Principal at Highland Elementary School in Daviess County.  Throughout her career, Mrs. Moore has taught all grades Kindergarten through Fifth and served four years as Instructional Coach at Sorgho Elementary.

     Mrs. Kelly Moore is married to David Moore and has two adult daughters, Kaitlyn and Kendall.  The currently reside on their family farm in Maceo.  Her father, Jim Lambert, is a native of Hancock County.

     Mrs. Moore is excited to serve the students, staff and families of our community.  We are currently working on an online method to introduce her to the community in lieu of an in-person meet and greet.
