Shelly Gray
“Excellence in education is when we do everything that we can to make sure they become everything that they can.”
~Carol Ann Tomlinson
"I would like to nominate Mrs. Shelly Gray for being a very real life example of what Excellence in Education looks like on a day to day basis! Mrs. Gray has begun a process this year of taking yard signs to the homes of her students. These signs tell the world, or any one driving by, that Mrs. Gray is proud of the student who lives there. I can only guess how happy the students are when they see Mrs. Gray show up at their house with a display of PRIDE!! Mrs. Gray works hard to encourage the success of the whole child, not just educationally but also socially and emotionally as well"--Shannon Case

Kim Mitchell
"Kim Mitchell goes above and beyond to help the families in not only South Hancock but all students in the district. No matter if she is at a training or on vacation, she can make two calls and the community jumps to help with a family. She has such great connections that she knows exactly what to do to meet the needs. She is truly a blessing to our school system!"--Anonymous

"Each of our school bookkeepers do an outstanding job in managing the Student Activity Funds at the school level.
There are many procedures they have to follow to ensure student funds are being received and spent properly and responsibly, according to state law (Redbook). By doing their jobs well, they have an impact on every student in their building. They are an extension of the District Finance Office and I value their knowledge and willingness to learn, to help make our district efficient and successful for students, teachers, and staff."--Kara Eckles
