Congratulations to the Hancock County Marching Hornets for winning the 2019 KMEA State Marching Band Class A Championship. Pictured below is Band Director Mark Benningfield with the First Place plaque and Governor's Trophy.
Many thanks to the 2019 HCMS Student Research Team whose investigation and presentations on the need for new middle school facilities led to the Hancock County Board of Education passing a Nickel Tax. We appreciate your efforts to make Hancock County Schools a better place for our future.
