South Hancock Elementary is a small rural school in southern Hancock County that serves students preschool through fifth grade.  The school works to provide programming that meets the needs of each student.  Services are available for special needs students as well as the gifted and talented students.  Our 21st century afterschool grant provides for homework and tutoring services as well as enrichment clubs such as archery, logo robotics, cooking, etc.  The school serves as the "community center" for the entire school area and is the focal point or local for community events.
