Awards $8,000 in Vocational Scholarships  

Hawesville, KY- The Hancock County Public School’s Foundation voted unanimously to award $8,000 worth of scholarships targeting Vocational Studies for the Fall of 2017. 

The Foundation awarded 4 scholarships in total for $2,000 per scholarship.  Two of the awarded scholarships were renewed scholarships from 2016 graduates.  The other 2 scholarship recipients are from the class of 2017.  Funds for the recipients will be dispersed upon fall enrollment.

The Vocational Scholarship targets areas such as:   Industrial Electrician, Motor Controls Electrician, Computer Manufacturing & Machining, Industrial Technology, & Computer-Aided Drafting & Design.
